Summary :

The BF-1200 Corner Bass Trap is designed for ultimate control of frequencies below 100hz in professional recording studios & hi-end hi-fi listening rooms.

Offering genuine bass control to 30hz, the BF-1200 is a serious device for rooms that need to sound seriously tight, precise and punchy in the bass frequencies.

Dimensions :       

• 830mm x 830mm along walls x 1174mm wide across front face built to 1200mm tall

Effective frequency range : high frequencies down to 30hz

Uses :

• For vertical room corners for bass trapping down to 30hz and control of mid / high frequency reflections and flutter echoes
• Floor sat to cover floor / wall corners

The BF-1200 Deep Sub Bass Trap is built with a real wood frame under the fabric covering, which means these can safely be stacked to reach full room height.

Before treatment frequency response plot :

This frequency response plot shows 2 huge 20db dips at 75hz and 85hz, and a 7.5 db peak around 38hz.

After treatment frequency response plot :

Shows up to 15db improvement at 75hz and 85hz , and around 4db improvement at 38hz to bring it within 4db of flat. This test was with only 2 corners treated with BF-1200s - even better results would have been achieved by treating the other 2 vertical corners.

The After Treatment Response is visibly flatter and truer, which translated into a noticeable improvement in bass punch and evenness.
